A pastry shop, bakery, cafeteria that displays its creations in the form of a showroom, an interior concept store designed by the Visual Display studio. With its gray stone surfaces and polished brass details, Dorbolò is a precious window on the historic center of Cividale del Friuli. A modern reinterpretation of traditional Central European pastry shops, it is conceived as a theatrical setting that, with an intriguing optical effect of shaped wings, leads the eye towards the back wall dominated by the counter and the large brass logo.
Among the hazelnut-colored partitions are display shelves, storage compartments to be discovered and small but comfortable alcoves where to sit and enjoy a slice of cake and a coffee. The large display cases in the center of the space show the pastry creations in all their beauty. Gubana, a typical sweet of the territory, is surely the main actor on stage.
Even bread plays an important role with its corner placed at the entrance to show the freshly baked products. The careful work on the interiors is completed by the lamps, all designed and made to measure, in brass and opaline glass. A store that attracts attention and welcomes visitors to enter to discover its products as if you were walking through an art gallery.
