The Green Village of Ponte di Legno

Guerini Real Estate & Hospitality realises the Green Village of Ponte di Legno, the village of houses that produces more energy than is needed to live in it.
Situated in the so-called ‘Sunny Side’ of the most beloved village of the Camonica Valley, the revolutionary project of the Guerini family – for 50 years a leader in the real estate and catering-hospitality sector – is starting, aesthetically inspired by the characteristic “Case di Viso”, the famous ancient village located between the valleys of Ponte di Legno.

Private or multi-family cottages, ranging in size from 80 to 250 square metres, designed for residents or for those who want a second home for their holidays in the snow, made to be totally energy self-sufficient, thanks to the innovative G-System construction system.

This is the first active house construction system in Italy conceived by Guerini Real Estate & Hospitality, based on a series of innovative features. A construction process, the result of almost 50 years of experience and in continuous evolution, which makes it possible to create zero-impact dwellings, equipped with the best comforts and without energy consumption costs. On the contrary, active houses generate an energy surplus that owners can resell as required by current regulations.

Green Village homes are configured to obtain an energy supply energy from renewable sources, such as solar and geothermal. In addition to having a zero impact on the environment, this also eliminates the costs of energy suppliers.
The interior finishing materials of the houses are all environmentally sustainable and free of toxic substances.
The housing units are built with a first continuous shell that follows the structure and a second outside thermal-acoustic shell, so as to completely eliminate cold spots and acoustic problems.
Thanks to the excess energy storage system and the provision of electric columns in all dwellings, it is possible to recharge an electric car completely free of charge.

According to Guerini’s estimates, based on the experience gained with the pilot project Villa Arianna and the Art Chalets, realised in 2017 and 2021 respectively, the 250 m2 Green Village villas will have an annual consumption of about 4,500 kW and a production surplus fed into the grid of 6,500 kW (+144%), while the three-room apartments will consume 2,000 kW and produce a surplus of 700 kW.
