Lumisona, the new immersive furnishing system

Arcdecor, the new brand of Macrolux, an Italian company renowned for luxury architectural and decorative lighting, announces the launch of LUMISONA, an innovative operating system that integrates light, sound, and fragrances into products designed by Arcdecor & Macrolux.

The new system places people at its core, addressing every type of request for all age groups. The goal is to facilitate the system’s use by all stakeholders through both digital command management and the presence of analog buttons. The focal point is daily life, aiming to create authentic connections by rediscovering the value of emotions and the simplicity of everyday life.

Each product is inspired by a work of art created by an artist who reinterprets iconic figures from the history of fashion, art, and science, which the stylist then translates into an object of exclusive design. Thus, a portfolio of products is born, organized around concepts, where different styles give rise to interior compositions named “Rêverie.”

The Reverie 1950s concept brings to life Puck, the super object inspired by Nikola Tesla; Jiff takes inspiration from Coco Chanel with its Reverie 2000s concept; Darkside draws from Pink Floyd, presenting the Reverie 2050s concept, while Reverie 1920s is inspired by Yves Saint Laurent.

Among these, the first product from Arcdecor to be launched on the market is Puck. Designed through the process of artificialization, Puck, with the Reverie 1950s concept, is a product that includes various versions, including wall-mounted models with arms, ceiling fixtures, pendant versions with 3 and 5 elements, as well as table and reading lamps, available in configurations that combine direct and indirect light, sound, and fragrances. Its outdoor version, named Oasis, will be available in wall-mounted versions with arms, floor models, bollards, and projectors, integrating direct light, sound, or fragrances.

The products incorporate an advanced hardware and software system that allows for the intelligent management of light, sound, and fragrances.

In technical detail, the lighting includes LEDs with dynamic white temperature and the ability to adjust luminous intensity; presence sensors capable of detecting people in the environment, thereby managing the timing of lighting activation and deactivation; and the functionality of the circadian cycle, identifying the color temperature within the artificial light environment in relation to external temperature characteristics, thus influencing human biorhythms.

The system also integrates amplified and equalized speakers and features Music-Sync technology, which enables music to interact with the lighting.

Additionally, the system engages the sense of smell with various types of fragrances that can be diffused and customized for each environment, with the option to replenish the scent through a simple aroma cartridge refill.

The technology developed for the system allows for operation via the Bluetooth Mesh System, enabling integrated communication among the lighting objects present in the environment and voice control through digital assistants like “Lumi” or external voice assistants.
