C-67 is the new collection designed by architect Carlo Colombo for IB. The formal approach revolves around the idea of preserving the distinctive features of the faucet, while at the same time giving it distinctive details and a unique aesthetic. In the collection, which was presented during the Fuori Salone and will be available on the market from September 2024, one can recognise the designer’s methodology, which is characterised by maximum simplicity combined with elegant details and balanced proportions. Emphasis is placed on the visible detail at the top of the faucet, emphasising the joint between the knob and the movable element that operates the water.
This distinctive element has become the starting point for the entire collection, comprising countertop, wall-mounted, bathtub and shower faucets. C-67 adapts to and can dialogue with a diverse range of projects: the aim was, in fact, to keep the product feasible and democratic, thus offering a collection on a human scale for a wide range of customers, while guaranteeing the high technological quality of IB’s products. The C-67 collection will also be the first brass tapware collection to be certified Carbon Footprint Zero, consistent with the company’s environmental policy.
This commitment reflects IB’s dedication to environmental sustainability and the reduction of ecological impact. Combining Carlo Colombo’s sophisticated aesthetics with IB’s technological quality and passion, the C-67 collection promises to become a new tapware classic for years to come.
