EFFETTO by Galletti

Galletti, which has been recognised on the international scene for many years, covers the comfort air-conditioning sector with one of the widest and most complete catalogs, and today the company presents a design module created with completely new lines and materials.

Lightness and materials were in fact the main themes of the design that led to the creation of EFFETTO, a minimal and elegant object, able to integrate transversally with different surroundings and styles. In this process, Galletti has experimented with the use of Dibond, a sheet with a sandwich structure of alluminium. As well as having an excellent seal against the formation of condensation, this material has allowed the designers of the Bologna-based company to give EFFETTO a linear and clean layout. The central grid, made of steel, creates a single surface with the Dibond panel, enhancing the overall thinness of the product.

The black color, applied to all the components of the internal structure, creates a shadow effect on the surrounding surfaces of the module that, in addition to seeming suspended in the air, interacts with all the elements and light sources in the environment. The chromatic finishes currently proposed are natural brushed aluminium and white RAL 9010.

From a technological point of view, the air throw has been optimized thanks to the use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, validated by experimental tests in Galletti laboratories. The CFD simulations have made it possible to study the diffusion of air in the environment in order to exploit the Coandă effect to the maximum: the air coming out of the box laps the false ceiling avoiding flows directed directly on the occupant, avoiding situations of localized thermo-hygrometric discomfort.

Finally, thanks to the magnets placed on the front panel, the installation and maintenance of EFFETTO are very simple and fast.
