A former agricultural consortium in Milan becomes a residence for 700 students by Park Associati for Hines Italia. The semi-industrial building changes face to become a modern campus that focuses on social spaces and promoting conviviality among residents. On the outside, the dark plaster and sandstone base maintain the semi-industrial character of the main building. Inside the campus, the architecture of the new building and the façade characterized by prefabricated fiber cement elements reveal an atmosphere of openness and openness.
The objective was the balance between the private dimension of each individual and the sharing and exchange of ideas and experiences among the residents. A place where one never feels alone. The common areas, the cafeteria and the administrative offices are developed on a continuous area at the entrance of the campus. Gymnasium and play area, a cinema and a large multipurpose room for events open to the public are housed in the basement. The courtyard is the heart of the campus: an outdoor agora designed for rest and relaxation, outdoor study spaces, green areas and an equipped outdoor sports area.

Illuminated by bright colors, the rooms are simple and cozy, customizable over time among the students who will follow and make them their own.A redevelopment project that listens to the needs of the community and gives student life in Milan a new center.
