Monolite

Studio Anidride Design, created by architect and designer Nicola De Pellegrini, has realised Monolite, the new showroom of the Gibam brand.
It is a monumental redevelopment project of a 1960s warehouse building in Fano, in the Marche region, which has been given a new lease of life thanks to a complex recovery project.

The project, which is developed on a single 500 square metre level, is characterised by a perfect parallelepiped, with all the external walls made of black aluminium creating a scenographic effect. The skin of the envelope is perforated following a pattern that suggests movement, change and vitality, reflecting the ever-changing character of the modern world. The floor is elevated and reached by a staircase.
The interior space includes two display areas and a meeting room, which in turn doubles as a material library, where the brand’s offerings can be shown to the public and which can be modified to create different layouts according to need.

Artificial light, which can be adjusted to create different effects, is a key element of this project. It is carefully designed to highlight the exhibition spaces, emphasising the displayed furniture in a unique atmosphere.

The design of corporate spaces is a tangible reflection of a brand’s identity and values,” confirms Nicola De Pellegrini. “Design as a whole communicates who we are and what we stand for. Companies that invest in design spaces are investing in the visual communication of their essence and brand, conveying a message of innovation, professionalism and attention to detail. Every corner, every colour and every piece of furniture becomes a vehicle to tell our story and engage our customers, creating a memorable experience that goes far beyond the products and services we offer.”
