Light + Building has always been the leading international event dedicated to the world of lighting, architecture and integrated design. In this context, PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING confirms its presence as an opportunity for dialogue and discussion with architects, designers and interior designers, placing light at the centre of the design process.
During the 2026 edition of the fair, from 8 to 13 March 2026, PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING will present a space dedicated to the residential and hospitality sectors, designed to meet the needs of contemporary environments, where aesthetics, visual comfort and lighting quality come together in a balance consistent with the architectural design. The concept stems from an approach that interprets light as a true design tool, capable of enhancing materials, volumes and atmospheres, offering designers versatile and perfectly integrated solutions.
The space takes shape from a creative dialogue with Stefano Dall’Osso, an internationally recognised lighting designer and consultant, with whom PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING has initiated a collaboration that goes beyond the boundaries of traditional design. Founder and team leader of SPLD – Swiss Professional Lighting Design, and with over thirty years of experience in consulting, design, research and teaching, Dall’Osso brings to the project a cultural vision of light as an expressive material. His contribution combines design sensitivity and technical rigour, in which light becomes a language capable of interpreting architecture, creating atmospheres and profoundly influencing the experience of residential and hospitality spaces.
As testimony to the value of this journey, on Sunday 8 March at 4.30 p.m., PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING will have the pleasure of hosting Stefano Dall’Osso at its stand for the MEET THE DESIGNER event. This event will be dedicated to recounting the creative process that leads from the initial vision to the creation of a lighting product, offering design professionals the opportunity to discover, directly from the designer, what lies behind the development of a concept and its evolution into a concrete solution.
An event designed for those who consider lighting an integral part of architectural design and see Light + Building as the ideal place to find inspiration, exchange ideas and discover new perspectives for design in the residential and hospitality sectors.
