Marmomac welcomes back the Archmarathon awards to select the best architectural projects using natural stone

July 2019 – Collaboration between Marmomac, the landmark event for the world’s natural stone sector, and Archmarathon, the international architecture event – organised by publisher PubliComm – which brings together 42 design studios based in several countries around the world and attendance by more than one thousand visiting architects. In fact, the call to action closed recentlyfor the 2020 edition of the Archmarathon Awards – including the Natural Stone category for the finest architectural works using this material.

More than 150 entries were received. The jury – comprising architect Luca Molinari and publishers Simona Finessi and Angelo Dadda – then selected the ten most deserving works. Ten international studies – from Italy to China, Spain, Egypt, France and Portugal – will consequently present their projects at a conference during Marmomac to select the three finalists who will go on to the last selection for the Archmarathon Awards 2020 in the Natural Stone category. Taking part in the conference at Marmomac also earns training credits.

Over the four days of the show, Marmomacc will host meetings between the studios taking part in the Awards and leading Italian and international exhibitors.

Once again, Veronafiere upholds its commitment towards promoting collaboration with prestigious partners and meetings with international professionals, confirming Marmomac’s impressive vocation and know-how in combining business, training and knowledge among companies and operators in the sector.
