Unopiù novelties presented at the Salone del Mobile 2024

Unopiù returns to the Salone del Mobile 2024 presenting many new features and with the clear objective of reaffirming its sector leadership and product-oriented vocation, thus defining the start of a new and promising phase for the company. It is a period full of changes, including the entry of the MSC Group and the assignment of new management roles, with Beniamino Garofalo appointed CEO and Claudio Costamagna as Chairman.
Unopiù’s exhibition space at the Salone del Mobile 2024 is inspired by the architecture of Luis Barragán. The project was designed by Calvi Brambilla & Partners with styling by Studio Salaris. The atmosphere is defined by earthy walls with smooth surfaces interspersed with wooden parts, which give a material touch to the environment, dominated by warm colours such as mustard, juxtaposed with burnt earth. Vertical cuts and ceilings at different heights allow light to create natural effects, warming the atmosphere. The new collections presented by the company, which confirms itself as a reference point in the panorama of contemporary outdoor design, fit into this scenario.

The Davos upholstery collection, designed by Matteo Nunziati, is a seating system with elements that make modularity and versatility its cornerstone. In fact, the line is designed seamlessly between indoor and outdoor thanks to upholstery and fabrics that replicate the comfort, softness and quality of indoor furniture, integrating perfectly with the current trend to create fluid spaces. An objective in which Unopiù has always believed and which drives the company to design collections that can give life to “an extra room”, an additional and not secondary place in the home dedicated to the outdoors.
Besides Davos, other products created with the involvement of important designers and planners were presented, such as Nanda, designed by Gio Tirotto and Lulù, created by Daniel Jarefeldt. Nanda is the contemporary, deconstructed and minimalist reinterpretation of the iconic bergère armchair, while Lulù has an elegant and timeless yet playful and light identity, as it resembles a swing. Both are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Unopiù also took part in the Fuorisalone with three different exhibition spaces: in the showroom in via Pontaccio, it created a ‘museum-like’ set-up in which the brand’s new icons are the protagonists: Nanda by Gio Tirotto, Lulù by Daniel Jarefeldt, Nacre and Coco by Andrea Andretta. The famous director’s chair Ginger is dressed in Nerazzurri for a special limited edition born from the collaboration between Unopiù and FC Internazionale Milano.
The charming terraces of the Salvioni concept store in Via Durini are dressed in Unopiù’s distinctive elegance, with the new Davos collection by Matteo Nunziati, the Damian parasol by Andreucci and Hoisl, and the iconic Amanda hammock, Synthesis alcove, Treble and Coco.

Finally, Unopiù took part in the Archiproducts exhibition, collaborating on the new project with Explora Journeys, the main partner of the Archiproducts AQUA installation, curated by Studiopepe. The immersive design installation along Via Tortona led guests to an ocean-inspired deck, furnished with the Davos collection by Unopiù by Matteo Nunziati, which will be featured on board the forthcoming luxury ship EXPLORA II.
