British bathing brand Victoria + Albert Baths, which has a global reputation for stunning freestanding tub and sink creations, launches the new products: Amiata, Tolouse and Barcelona. The three bathtubs are made of QUARRYCAST™, a blend of volcanic limestone and high-performance resins, naturally white, developed exclusively by the company. Among the characteristics of the extraordinary material we can find solidity, softness to the touch, scratch resistance and a longer lasting warmth of the water during the bath. Each natural white bathtub can be customized thanks to the company’s RAL color service, which offers nearly 200 color options in matte or glossy versions.
Amiata, Tolouse and Barcelona are also available in the 1500mm size, which allows for significant space savings in the room while maintaining the luxurious look. Emma Joyce, Brand Manager EMEAA at Victoria + Albert Baths, comments, “At Victoria + Albert Baths we firmly believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the pleasure of a luxury bathroom, whether you have a compact space or are in a large five star hotel. This trio of new baths joins a selection of compact models already in our catalog such as Edge, ios and Mozzano. Planners and interior designers will also have an even wider choice of designs than before.”
Barcelona 1500 takes inspiration from the famous Spanish city, has opulent curves and organic design details. The larger version, already in the catalog, has been chosen for a number of high-profile luxury hotel projects, including Hampshire’s Chewton Glen, Somerset’s At the Chapel, and New York’s Baccaratt Hotel & Residences. Tolouse 1500, on the other hand, is a deep, double-ended bateau tub inspired by French designs from the 1860s. Finally, Amiata 1500 is an award-winning tub designed by Italian duo Meneghello Paolelli Associati, whose elegant proportions and transitional design make it a popular choice for both classic and contemporary bathrooms. Amiata can also be placed in both large and small spaces in conjunction with the collection’s washbasins, which echo the same design.
