CMO Paris opens in Saint-Germain

In the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, in the heart of Paris, CMO Paris is opening a new showroom that reflects the brand’s identity: a fluid, sinuous space dedicated to showcasing the finest natural fibres. Abaca, palm leaves, raffia, linen, silk, wool and cashmere take centre stage in a narrative of materials that combines aesthetic innovation, craftsmanship and respect for the environment. CMO Paris’s philosophy is, in fact, based on a responsible approach to the selection of raw materials.

Plant fibres are harvested with respect for the ecosystem, choosing plants that can regenerate quickly and favouring non-invasive harvesting techniques. Many materials are still processed on manual looms by artisans who pass on ancient knowledge, preserving traditional techniques and methods that represent a tangible form of sustainability. This vision takes shape in the 2026 collection, in which natural fibres become highly refined decorative surfaces. With Essence Naturelle Mural 2, hemp and abaca are interpreted through sophisticated weaves, sometimes enriched with metallic sheen or interwoven with silk and horsehair, evoking the minimalist aesthetic of Japanese tatami mats.

The Bois Mural 2 series reinterprets wood through creative techniques that combine it with paper and three-dimensional structures, giving rise to surfaces that evoke shifting landscapes, from waves and dunes to bamboo forests. With Tresse Végétale Mural, weaving takes centre stage: interlacing, mats and bimaterial combinations transform palm, bamboo and abaca into highly tactile surfaces, inspired by shoji screens. Bamboo, meanwhile, dominates Bambou Mural 2, where sophisticated weaves capture the light in natural and khaki tones. The new Paris showroom thus becomes the place in which these collections are fully revealed, telling the story of a world made of authentic materials, light and craftsmanship, where nature and design engage in a harmonious dialogue.
