For the second year in a row, Meet Arch – a platform for under-35 professionals working in some of Europe’s largest firms – is organising, together with Vannucci Piante, a three-day meeting at the Pistoia Nursery Campus, which this year will conclude with the elaboration of a ‘manifesto’ with the green guidelines for the near future.
In close connection with the host location, the days – 14, 15 and 16 June – will aim to create a common thread for a design that is connected to the conscious use of green.
The term ‘green’, increasingly linked to renewable energy, has gradually lost its original meaning. Through various lectio magistralis sessions held by internationally renowned architects and landscape architects and moderated by journalist Giorgio Tartaro, we will reflect on the role of the designer in bringing together vegetation and architecture beyond purely decorative purposes.
The protagonists of the debates will illustrate concrete examples of their own design approach to greenery.
A concentration of multidisciplinary experiences from internationally renowned realities such as: Zaha Hadid Architects, OMA, MIR, BIG Architects, Atelier Jean Nouvel, Kengo Kuma, SANAA, Sou Fujimoto Architects, Archea Associati, Stefano Boeri Architetti, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Mario Cucinella Architects, Diorama, Mecanoo, MVRDV, Patricia Urquiola, and many others.
