Superplan Zero is the latest innovation from Kaldewei: a new floor-level shower tray in enamelled steel designed by Berlin-based designer Werner Aisslinger. It impresses with its refined restraint and sustainability of thematerial, as well as elegant lines that make it the star of any bathroom. Superplan Zero is a product name with a background: Kaldewei has interpreted customer requirements and translated them into a completely new product. Installed at floor level, the shower surface becomes the bathroom floor and, thanks to its very narrow edges, allows direct tiling with almost invisible joints. The waste is placed so close to the wall that standing comfortably and moving safely on the Superplan Zero are guaranteed. The new shower surface is characterized by its elegant and precise lines and can be accessed from three sides without any steps.
The enamelled steel base is extremely durable and 100% recyclable. The production of enamelled steel is part of the DNA of the company, which manufactures it exclusively in Germany at its Ahlen site from a steel and glass compound made of iron ore and sand that is completely plastic-free. Kaldewei is the only manufacturer of enamelled steel bathroom furniture that produces the enamel, the product behind the vitreous coating, in-house using a patented process.
