Innovation and application will be the key topics at the centre of the SHARE X conference in Venice on advanced architecture. The initiative will take place on 23 and 24 November 2023: on the first day inside the historical halls of Palazzo Badoer of the IUAV University of Venice, round tables and debates will be held in 8 sessions on the latest architectural innovations. On the second day, the event will move to M9, the Museo del ‘900 in Mestre, where 4 interactive sessions will be organised with over 20 international guests giving presentations and lectures on projects that are currently under development or have just been completed and can be considered as case histories of an implemented research study. An eye will also be turned to the most anticipated projects of the future.
The SHARE X conference is designed to highlight the seamless integration of advanced research into architectural practice and the tangible applications of design research in the implementation phase. The events will present real-life applications of ongoing and completed research by advanced, cutting-edge architectural practices. The aim is not only to showcase successful integrations of innovative design and realisation techniques, but also to stimulate dialogue, encourage collaborations and promote the adoption of research-based design in contemporary architecture.

The initiative is organised by SHARE Architects Society in collaboration with the Ordine degli Architetti Pianificatori Paesaggisti e Conservatori Venezia, under the patronage of the Federazione Regionale Ordini Architetti PPC Veneto and the Fondazione Degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti e Conservatori della Provincia Di Venezia.
