The Hotel spa Olangerhof is an elegant accommodation facility in the Pustertal valley, among the most beautiful natural scenery in the world, and offers renovated design spaces to its guests. The hotel was in fact the subject of a recent renovation project, which also involved SDR, an Italian company known for its ceramic products crafted with mastery thanks to unique craftsmanship.
For the washbasin area, countertop products were chosen, model Qube 3 in cream-coloured ceramic, a workhorse for SDR.
With solid lines and a strong character, this version of the Qube washbasin has a practical and spacious basin and is the perfect match for SDR’s diamond sanitaryware collection, Bull.
Also in matt cream, the wall-hung sanitary ware from SDR’s best-selling collection, Bull, is a perfect match for the room’s warm and welcoming decor. The BULL series anticipates living trends through its geometrically precise curves, enhanced by a hygienic and resistant material such as ceramic.
For the production of SDR products, the craftsmen of the in-house team, experts in ceramic work, devote body and soul to the care of each individual piece. The entire production cycle takes place in-house, therefore 100% in Italy. Precisely for this reason, the need arises to dedicate a sartorial-like treatment to each step that makes an SDR product unique and painstaking in every detail.
Attention to the product also passes through great sensitivity to the environment and sustainability. SDR uses a recycling system for water, scrapped ceramics and plaster moulds that are no longer suitable for production. The company uses a kiln with low atmospheric emissions and lower methane gas consumption to fire ceramic sanitary ware. Finally, it collects energy through photovoltaic panels for a production of 350 kw of clean energy.
