Rimadesio reopens the showroom doors at the Giussano headquarters designed by architect Giuseppe Bavuso. A major restyling operation has further enhanced the original concept, to make the showroom even more welcoming and functional.
The idea was to elevate the space to a real place of meeting, dialogue, discussion and even training for customers and professionals. The display concept plays on a sober and minimalist colour palette, in line with the identity that distinguishes all the single-brand shops in the world. The company’s distinctive features are then recognisable in the purity of the volumes and structures and in the careful choice of materials. The company showroom covers 1,200 square metres on two floors: the ground floor is dedicated to reception and training and is therefore equipped for meetings and convivial gatherings. A selection of new products is presented, including the partition panel programme integrated with Air System bi-folding doors and some new pieces from the Rialto collection, such as the wall mirrors and small tables presented in new versions with oval or round tops.
In these rooms, space is also given to R-Academy, dedicated to in-depth technical and materials analysis, with a display wall hosting all 308 catalogue finishes: aluminium and glass – Rimadesio materials par excellence – are flanked by marble, fabrics, Litech, essences and imitation leather. On the upper floor, the collection includes walk-in wardrobes, wardrobes, sliding doors, bookcases, and tables enhanced by the skilful use of light, which enhances the design of the products and the quality of the materials used. The reopening of the Giussano showroom gives Rimadesio the opportunity to reveal a preview of the new proposals designed by Giuseppe Bavuso: in addition to the new elements of the Rialto family of furnishings the new Air+ and Maxi+ doors, characterised by horizontal and vertical cross-pieces that meet to create a cross-shaped geometric design, and the new Altair slim centre-stay unit designed for the wardrobe and the four-door version of the Aliante storage unit.
