Piadena Villa by Steel Group

The design of this private villa in Piadena in the province of Cremona was realised by the Italian studio Arkpabi, which defines it as ‘Theatre of Forms‘. The characterising element is the harmonic synergy established between the design and the architecture of the volumes, which creates a new interpretation of reality based on a free vision and symmetrical grace. There are no filters or visual barriers when observing; on the contrary, materials, colours and fine finishes blend together, without blurring, tocreate shades of candid purity.

For the realisation of the windows and doors, Arkpabi collaborated with Steel Group, a leading company in the field of steel, corten, bronze and other metals, which has been able to enhance the architectural project to the fullest through large custommade windows with concealed profiles with an elegant design and minimal visual impact, while guaranteeing high levels of energy efficiency and safety. The fixed, opening and sliding surfaces of doors and French windows have EBE 65 thermal break profiles, also known as warm profiles. For the sleeping area, blackout blinds were made with sliding steel panels.
