Koelnmesse, the world’s leading organiser of trade fairs for the Living, Contract and Public Spaces sectors, recently unveiled the main news for 2024 regarding two of its trade fair formats, interzum forum italy, which will be held from 6 to 7 June in Bergamo, and Orgatec, which will take place from 22 to 25 October in Cologne.

Interzum, an event of excellence in the subcontracting sector for the furniture industry, from this year will include a new biennial appointment in Bergamo of the event already present and well established in Cologne, Guangzhou, Bogota, Jakarta and Tokyo. Bergamo is a location that confirms itself as an attractive destination on the trade fair scene thanks to its easy accessibility due to its proximity to Orio al Serio Airport (the airport that connects Bergamo with 137 destinations and 37 foreign countries) and to Milan. interzum forum italy is the new biennial event that will alternate with interzum cologne in even-numbered years. “It is important to emphasise that interzum forum italy is a project that responds to the needs of this historical moment in which companies are looking for concentrated, short-lasting and extremely effective events,” says Thomas Rosolia, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Italia. “As of today, the two halls of the exhibition centre are almost full and we hope to reach 200 exhibitors from all over the world from the Function & Components, Materials & Nature, and Textile and Machinery sectors,” continues Thomas Rosolia. An appointment, therefore, that develops a contained and effective format: two days in which to meet the companies of the sector and delve into the most topical themes for the industrial districts.

Returning from 22 to 25 October 2024, ORGATEC, the leading international event for the ‘future of work’, which is the main meeting place for companies in the sector, the specialised trade and interior design professionals from all over the world. This year’s event will be renewed with a new exhibition concept involving a complete redesign of the halls.
