With Nirvana, Megius reinvents the sauna object and makes it an element to be exhibited inside the home, a place of total relaxation and well-being where everything can be left outside, stripped of everyday life. Furnishing trends have been rewarding glass as the main material for creating new scenic effects for some years now. The exterior glass cladding and walls of the Nirvana project create impressions that amplify domestic and relaxation spaces.
Warmth, peace and serenity are the suggestions that characterise the Nirvana Sauna experience through the bath of heat released inside the fir wood cabin by the pouring of water over the special stones that capture the heat and gradually release it into the environment in a natural and uniform way. In the Nirvana sauna, Megius places the highest emphasis on the best design in this product category through the use of two types of exterior cladding, which include: two woods, Spruce and Hemloc in a veneered version, or two glasses, black and white, back-painted.
For the interior claddings, Hemlock or classic Spruce materials are used, painted black or white in the back wall characterised by a narrow stave texture, while all other walls are veneered.
