On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2024, SDR Ceramiche presents two important new products in an unusual exhibition space designed by the Le Michette studio. The company wanted to launch a provocation and draw attention by inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a scenographic contrast between outside and inside, exploring two distinct but complementary worlds. On the outside, shop windows transformed into works of contemporary art capture the attention with a breathtaking backdrop, while inside there is an atmosphere of surprising sobriety and functionality, with clean lines and open spaces that embody the essence of the beauty of essentiality.
Three materials were chosen in accordance with the sustainable design guidelines dictated by the Show: marine plywood, industrial metal mesh and semi-transparent polycarbonate, representing the firm’s design philosophy: innovation, sustainability and functionality.
In this context, SDR Ceramiche presented two of its most recent innovations: NEOS and PILÒ.
NEOS embodies the company’s ability to revolutionise the bathroom furnishing sector with pure and essential forms, which are however redefined in a modern way through a careful study of lines. The flow of light on the surfaces emphasises the curves and angles of the sanitary ware, which is available in a wide range of colours, including the new Nuance and Essence shades. NEOS guarantees SDR’s high performance thanks to the Vertigo flush system, a rimless system that is silent and guarantees some of the best hygiene standards on the market.
The second protagonist of SDR’s exhibition space is PILÒ, SDR Ceramiche’s first Vanity Unit designed by Paolo D’arrigo. PILÒ is synonymous with elegance and versatility, characteristics that emerge thanks to the careful design of the powder-coated stainless steel structure and the ceramic washbasin. Available in different sizes to meet all space requirements, PILÒ can be customised with colours from the Nuance and Essence ranges, offering an ideal mix of style and functionality for any modern, glamorous bathroom.
