The Spa Suite represents an innovative project capable of proposing a new idea of wellness in the private sphere: it is a luxury flat of about 160 square metres in Widen, a quiet town about half an hour from Zurich. The project aims to evoke a walk immersed in the nature and landscape of the area, materialising visual and tactile sensations through plays of light and furnishings conceived completely to measure. The studio èdoc architects has outlined the entire project with the aim of defining a harmonious path and amplifying the senses thanks to the choice of precious materials such as Canaletto walnut, brushed brass metal finishes, lime material decorations and embossed steel ceilings. On the ground floor is the day spa treatment area, with a large space dedicated to the whirlpool bath and the sauna and hammam cabins with sensory shower. From here one reaches an intimate relaxation area and the master suite with fireplace.
The Tiger Gold in lux finish from The Wild Spirit collection by Roberto Cavalli Home Luxury Tiles, a brand of which Cerdisa Ricchetti Group is a licensee, is the leading character of the SPA path together with the Archisalt Cyprus Lava line by Cerdisa, precisely because they recreate a sort of cascade of colours and vibrations like those of a lush forest. “In the GCR collections,” say the designers, “we have identified materials that are perfectly in line with the idea of proposing elements inspired by the natural world, also through fine finishes capable of enhancing and characterising the spaces“. The particular character of the graphics, thanks also to the polished surfaces, contributes to giving a touch of elegance and luminosity to the environment and represents a highly scenographic element capable of transmitting at the same time a sensation of luxury and well-being. The Spa Suite is the result of a careful and delicate design that had to take into account the construction of the plant engineering necessary for the proper functioning of the spa, but at the same time aimed at minimally invasive demolition. The result is a project that represents an innovative concept for the wellness world, while not disrupting the original structure of the building, allowing it to be easily restored in the future. A result achieved thanks to the participation of 100% Italian companies and craftsmen who gave expression to the best of Made in Italy.
