Bassano del Grappa, a new private house stands out for its minimal and clean style realized by Didonè Comacchio Architects. The building is composed of two orthogonal volumes in a classic “T” composition. Organic and neutral colors broken by the furniture and wood details that create a comfortable and homogeneous feeling with the nature that surrounds the house.
Inside, the served and servant spaces find a logical and functional organization, which thanks to its orientation defines the most private external context and unexpected internal spaces.Access to the house is from the street to the north, where the building is compact and the view is guided by the large concrete septum towards the entrance of the house. Crossed the threshold, the space projects the visitor into the living area, a large living room with a glass corner wall that seems to want to integrate the interior space with the garden.
The feeling you get is that of walking in nature without going outside, a private space where you can work in harmony and spend the day while the hours are marked by sunlight. The north-south block contains and distributes the sleeping area, also immersed in an opal white and framed by the usual corner windows that offer a view of the outside. A project for a contemporary home in line with the functionality of the space and the garden-interior integration as the common thread of House AJ.
