From 25 to 29 September, on the occasion of the next Cersaie in Bologna, Cerdisa and Ricchetti will be exhibiting an absolute preview of their new projects and telling their story through the Synthetic Nature concept at their stand (hall 30, stand C58).
SYN is the new concept that represents a true homage to ceramic material, it is the common root of consequent words and actions such as: SYNTHESIS, SYNERGY, SYMBIOSIS, SYNCHRONY.
The product as sole and absolute protagonist of the exhibition space, declined in collections that do not live alone, but are created to merge with each other, indissolubly united by a chemistry rich in elective affinities.
SYN‘s iconic series materialises in Fluids, where GCR has harnessed Artificial Intelligence to mould the shapes derived from the artefacts artistically elaborated with inks, recalling the iconography of liquid crystals. Another creative experiment by GCR will be represented by Pearls, a collection poetically inspired by the sky and its colours that manifest themselves according to the weather. At Cersaie 2023, Clear Sky will be on display in the brand new Honed surface, i.e. matt lapped, silky, to gently accommodate the reflections of light and its transparencies, as in a painting. It will also be possible to see the Frames series, a ceramic surface made three-dimensional thanks to the adoption of the T2D product plus, a bichromatic optical micro-design generated by computer graphics.
It will be an opportunity to discover Cerdisa’s brand new Archistone 2, Onyx Design and Wood Design collections and to see Archimarble 2 again, enriched with a new marble effect also in the special Honed finish; similarly, Ricchetti will exhibit Fireclay, Retro Pure and Trick in an absolute preview.
Archistone 2 is a transversal collection of stone effects in natural and Cross surfaces with a design developed on a large format, with perfect modularity in its countless stone variations and complementary surfaces; it also boasts 20 mm thickness on the 80×80 format. The Cross surface, thanks to its innovative applied nano-granules, is characterised by non-slip safety, softness to the touch and easy cleanability, guaranteeing total visual continuity between interior and exterior with a single product.
Onyx Design is only apparently inspired by the effect of the precious stone onyx, while in reality it gives life to almost abstract creations, with vivid, marked colours, that recall reinventing natural elements such as ice, night, light, sun, forest, sky, water; a synthesised nature. It is available in Honed (extremely soft to the touch) and Polished (with a deep shine and flatness, mirror-like) finishes.
Wood Design is a walnut effect, American, with continuous and sinuous graphic movements developed in sizes 26.5×180 and 20×120, in three colours. In addition to providing the Cross surface, and thus being able to be contextualised in residential environments as well as in countless destinations of use where R11 C certification is required, it sees its first strong point in the richness of the graphic movement and in the countless chromatic gradations balanced in the same ceramic panel.
Archimarble 2 includes three refined and stylistically elegant marble effects that cover the colour range from white to black; available in Soft finish, obtained by adopting a special glaze and a light final brushing to confer greater softness to the touch, Polished, polished with a full field that produces extreme brilliance, and finally Honed, an extremely smooth and technical matt lapping, it is a collection developed on large modular formats that are perfectly rectified.
Fireclay presents a textured terracotta effect, and has a three-dimensional surface structure, with rectified edges, for a final aesthetic result that allows it to be cleared from a traditional material to a modern solution also suitable for contemporary architecture, also thanks to the precise modularity of the formats, the availability of an innovative surface finish such as Cross, and contemporary shades.
Retro Pure is not a marble effect, it is not a concrete effect: it is a sculptural material that becomes ivory, crystal, chalk in the colours developed. The veins of marble intersect with the mottling of cement on a surface that seems to have been modelled by hand, with a worn, antiqued look. Thanks to product plus T2D is three-dimensional to the touch and rich in reflections depending on the refraction of light; its large-format design makes it even more of a product with an original and unique aesthetic.
Trick is inspired by knotless brushed oak planks with a uniform appearance. A product envisaged in the Natural and Cross surfaces, it owes its name to the play of various laying patterns that can be composed thanks to its multiple formats (20×120, 15×120, 10×120, 5×120 and 120×120 Inlay cassette – all modular with each other, some available boxed together – 26.5×180 and 7.5×45, the latter can also be used as a wall covering decoration). The six colours in the natural and contemporary colour palette are designed to imagine and design any type of architectural space.
