Cubes Ankara, a project developed by Vakıf GYO, is rising in Çukurambar, one of Ankara’s most prestigious locations. With a total construction are of 216,932 square meters, Cubes Ankara serves as the new-generation mixed-use hub with residential, office, hotel, commercial spaces, and social amenities. In the Project “Şişecam Temperable Solar Low-E Glass Neutral 70/37” was used for the facade glass.
As a project designed to be friendly to children, pets, nature, and people with disabilities, Cubes Ankara also added a sophisticated touch to the city’s skyline with Şişecam’s high performance coated glass. During the design phase, glass as facade material was chosen due to the project’s impact on the city’s skyline, and environmentally friendly building systems are being adopted. In the project where 45,000 square meters of triple insulating glass units were used, a Uglass value of 0.5 was achieved and natural ventilation was provided with double-skin application on the facades in the operable windows.
Şişecam Temperable Solar Control Low-E Glass Neutral 70/37 provides both solar control and thermal insulation with a single coating. Its high light transmission and solar control help reduce cooling and heating loads in buildings while the glass offers outstanding thermal insulation and efficient solar control. The product allows for maximum natural daylight, minimizing the need for artificial lighting. Its transparency and low reflectivity offer a perfect view. The product, which is also available as an annealed option with the same color and performance as Şişecam Solar Control Low-E Glass Neutral 70/37, offers the right glass solutions for residential and hotel projects with a view.
