Coulisse and Borealis: ITALAMP’s luminous tale for its 50th anniversary

ITALAMP celebrates a significant milestone this year: for fifty years, the brand has passionately interpreted the magic of light through an extraordinary journey into the world of lighting, punctuated by unique and evocative collections.

Euroluce 2025 represented an opportunity for ITALAMP to celebrate half a century of success, the result of an authentic spirit of innovation and of the company’s precious craftsmanship heritage, a heritage built on manufacturing excellence and the continuous desire to experiment.
The new collections were presented in an exceptional setting designed by STUDIO SALARIS: a stage, wrapped in delicate shades of lilac and butter, where every detail was conceived to harmoniously blend past and present, offering an unexpected and incredible immersive experience.
Among the most fascinating new products presented at Euroluce are suspensions and chandeliers characterised by a contemporary design, capable of establishing a dialogue between tradition and innovation, with a modern aesthetic language.

One of the protagonists is COULISSE (W152 x D13 x H34 cm), a suspension lamp, designed by BoattoMartino Studio, inspired by the world of musical instruments.
The lamp has a metal structure in the colour Canna di Fucile that supports a tube in canned glass inside which the diffuser is inserted. Elegant and refined, COULISSE reflects light gracefully, evoking the warmth and charm of brass instruments. The finishes of the details are available in brushed light gold, matt black or dark red.

Another striking creation is BOREALIS (W126 x D6 x H86 cm), the new pendant lamp designed by Nava Arosio that captures the enchantment of the aurora borealis, dancing in space like the lights of the Nordic sky.
Simple in function but dense in meaning, BOREALIS was born from the memory of the designers’ travels in Lapland, amidst the midnight summer sunsets and the cold winter auroras. The diffuser, with its soft curves reminiscent of the infinity symbol, is made of glass in shades of Amber and Brown, creating a vibrant contrast with the polished Midnight Grey structure.
The bar and the glass body are equipped with two independent ignitions, allowing the light intensity to be modulated according to the desired atmosphere.

Coulisse and Borealis evoke a poetic design that unveils a new face of light, an expression of ITALAMP’s unmistakable style and its mastery of glassworking.
