The construction company Gruppo Censeo srl, promoter of the Censeo project for art, in collaboration with with the association 4aWOMAN Onlus, has gone back to the past playing with an art operation postal services.
Tuesday, November 26, starting at 18:00, in the spaces of Via della Commenda 33, will be the postal works received during these months.
Begun in June, with the forwarding of an invitation by post, artists, architects and communicators have joined the project by creating a work on the white and virgin front of a postcard.
The subject and theme of the project is the Archetype.
The mail art, already experimented by the futurists and Marcel Duchamp, until it became famous in the sixties and seventies with Fluxus, has been proposed again on this occasion with the desire to finance the humanitarian and health project created by 4aWOMAN, dedicated to the treatment and prevention of cancer in Madagascar, one of the ten poorest countries in the world, where well one in five women is at risk of contracting this disease.
The entire proceeds of the auction will be donated to the association 4aWOMAN Onlus, with the aim of contributing to the creation of a new health center in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo, which will allow the population greater access to the necessary care.
4aWOMAN is developing concrete actions with a strong impact on the population: in the last 3 years, with its 2 health centres and an equipped Mobile Unit, it has assisted over 50,000 women throughout the country and involved over 70,000 in awareness campaigns to combat cancer.
The project, specially conceived by Francesca Brambilla, curator of Censeo per l’arte, was carried out in collaboration with Excellence Magazine Luxury, Platform Architecture & Design and under the patronage of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
