Walter Zenga is returning to coach Emirates FC, a club in Ras Al Khaimah, the team sponsored by the multinational RAK Ceramics in which former Barcelona world champion Andres Iniesta and another Spanish talent Paco Alcacer play.
The former Inter Milan goalkeeper, nicknamed ‘Spider-Man’, has signed until 30 June 2025, saying “I promise to give everything I have and use my energy, my team and my experience to help the team grow and improve. I will meet the players after watching some matches. I want to instil the principles of team spirit and teamwork“.
Zenga has coached teams such as Catania, Palermo, Al-Nassr, Al- Nasr, Al-Jazira, Al-Shaab, Sampdoria and Cagliari in his career, his last coaching experience in 2020.
RAK Ceramics has been the Main Sponsor of the Emirates Club, the UAE football team based in Ras Al Khaimah, since summer 2023. The multinational company represents one of the largest ceramic brands in the world and intends to play a key role in elevating the club’s new venture on the global stage as the most renowned brand in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
