Unopiù’s Travel Diary

To mark the 2026 Salone del Mobile, Unopiù presents a special project that explores the vision of contemporary outdoor living through a collaborative journey, bringing together a collective of five designers – Federica Biasi, Gian Paolo Venier, Andrea Steidl, Zaven and Keiji Takeuchi – who have been invited to interpret the brand’s heritage using different yet complementary design languages.
Travel Diary” is not composed of standalone collections designed to exist separately, but of a single narrative: a shared diary, in which each project represents a stage, a gesture, a sensibility.

Every project is a journey. And every journey is a project. This is why so many thinkers have practised travel as a form of knowledge.” To give voice to the Travel Diary, Unopiù has chosen a prestigious editorial voice, Domitilla Dardi, who has interpreted its profound spirit.

The Travel Diary collections include:
• CORA by Federica Biasi, a complete collection in teak and rope that combines rigour and tactility;
• PERTRE by Zaven, a modular table system designed for flexibility in both contract and residential settings;
• VERSILIA by Keiji Takeuchi, minimalist tables in teak and aluminium, available in round and extendable rectangular versions;
• SYMI and SYROS by Gian Paolo Venier, versatile coffee tables that blend seamlessly into outdoor spaces;
• EGADI by Andrea Steidl, multifunctional stools and side tables with a sculptural and versatile character

Also featured within this collection is IGEA, the new range of outdoor seating designed by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana: a chapter with a more archetypal character, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic wrought-iron collections typical of the Italian garden.

The result is not a simple sum of styles, but a cohesive vision that enables the collections to interact with one another, an approach that highlights Unopiù’s ability to create complete, elegant and functional outdoor spaces, designed for both residential and hospitality settings.
Unopiù thus continues to develop its vision of the outdoors as a true “extra room”, to be experienced as a journey between tradition and design vision, in the spirit of continuity and identity that have distinguished the brand since 1978.
