For the 2025 edition of Marmomac – the world’s most important trade fair dedicated to the entire stone production chain, which will take place in Verona from 23rd to 26th September – PLATFORM architecture and design has curated an event focused on the extraordinary use of stone in architecture.
“Stone: Timeless Architecture” will involve eight architectural firms from across Europe, selected for their original and innovative use of natural stone in their projects and will take place at Speakers Corner Hall 1 from 2pm to 3:30pm.
Each participant in the event will present a significant project to the Marmomac audience, selected for its masterly use of marble, revealing the creative process that led to its realisation and exploring the unique contemporary interpretations of this timeless material.
The event celebrates the everlasting appeal and extraordinary versatility of marble in architecture and interior design through the testimonies of architects who, with their vision and style, have created a dialogue between natural stone and the surrounding environment, enhancing architectural spaces with its eternal elegance.
