SOLO Shower, the safe shower system by Ponte Giulio, has been selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory among the 46 Design for Living projects and included in the ADI Design Index 2023.
The ADI Design Index is the annual publication of ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Industrial Design Association) that collects the best design novelties and products. All products selected in the ADI Design Index 2022 and 2023 will compete in the 28th edition of the Compasso d’Oro, which will see its 70th edition in 2024.
Awarded and recognised was Ponte Giulio’s ability to skilfully use innovative materials with a view to circularity and production sustainability for a product that combines craftsmanship and vision. For the company, in fact, quality is not only an end goal, but also and above all a method of conception and workmanship. Ponte Giulio aims to make design more and more inclusive and SOLO Shower fits perfectly within this project, being a system of coordinated elements (shower sets, shower columns, handles and accessories) conceived to configure a shower area and make it absolutely safe.
All items meet the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines, among the most stringent in terms of the balance between design and safety, and help ward off the dangers of falls caused by sudden slips. The bar that makes up the riser prevents scalds thanks to an innovative safety system that prevents the heat from rising above 38°C, and therefore allows you to hold on safely with a load capacity of over 200 kg. SOLO Shower is also an environmentally friendly product because it is made entirely of stainless steel, a material that ensures great strength and durability.
