Skygrip by Isoplam was chosen for the outdoor flooring of a new detached villa in Porto Mantovano, in the province of Mantova. The project combines cement, metal and natural elements, in an alternation of scenic angles. Clean lines, attention to detail, and materiality are the elements that characterise the outdoor spaces divided geometrically between zones of passage and spaces to be lived in, for moments of leisure or relaxation, such as the pool area.
The Skygrip collection, the new creative outdoor cement designed by Isoplam, blends perfectly with the style of the residence thanks to its contemporary character. Slight surface reliefs lend character and materiality to the surfaces, conferring not only great aesthetic and tactile appeal, but also excellent technical properties, particularly the non-slip properties that are essential for the pool area, albeit with an extremely reduced thickness. At only 2 mm, Skygrip gives a special three-dimensional effect that highlights every relief of the surface. The result is a continuous rough and textured decoration; a penetrating mix of shapes and nuances that breaks through the contemporary geometries of the villa, making them even more contemporary.
Chosen in Platinum colour for this project, Skygrip is available in many colours and various finishes. Its technical qualities make it suitable for both private and public outdoor spaces, even where there are existing floors to be covered, without the need to remove or demolish them. Its excellent performance in terms of resistance to wear, chemical agents, atmospheric factors, abrasion, cracking and frost, together with its anti-slip and anti-skid properties, as well as its resistance to water, make Skygrip the ideal floor covering not only for residential exteriors, but also for covering swimming pool areas. Finally, the absence of joints makes the decorative surface easy to clean, and the water-based formaldehyde-free composition does not release substances that are hazardous to people’s health and the environment, in compliance with the most up-to-date safety and well-being regulations.
