Sensora is the immersive exhibition in the heart of Brera presented by Élitis on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025. Designed in collaboration with renowned creative studio Masquespacio, known for its bold and playful approach to interior design and branding, the exhibition blends bright colours, geometric shapes and emotional narratives to create spaces that spark curiosity and dialogue. Sensora took visitors on a sensory journey – through a selection of upholstery and fabrics from the new collection – where architecture and geometry transcend their functional roles to become a language of emotion and experience. This conceptual exploration unfolds in three acts, offering a progressive revelation of how forms and spaces influence our inner perceptions and reflections.
In the first space, one encounters a tunnel divided into four sequential spaces, each posing a key question about the impact of architectural forms on mood: verticality, horizontality, inclination and emptiness. Through striking visual representations, the visitor is confronted with a visceral reflection, a silent dialogue between space and perception, in which form becomes an emotional language.
In the second space, interaction becomes physical and immersive through enveloping circular structures, where abstract geometry merges with the refined textures and vibrant colours of the Élitis collection. This environment, which subverts the usual human scale, opens up an amplified sensory experience. It is an invitation to move freely, letting oneself be guided by the body and surfaces, in a dialogue that redefines the perception of space.
In the third and final act, the rhythm slows down: the original architectural space is enhanced in all its authenticity, but remains related to the previous acts through a recurring element, the semicircle. In this silent oasis, dominated by fabrics and wallpapers in neutral shades from the Élitis collection, a moment of calm and contemplation opens up. Here the essence is celebrated, underlining the brand’s ability to naturally cross styles and languages, from bold pop to understated elegance.
This immersive experience gave the Élitis 2025 textile and wallcovering collections the opportunity to be presented and exhibited through a striking set design that enhances the tactile and visual dialogue between materials and space. More than an exhibition, Sensora is a sensational odyssey, an invitation to explore, feel and connect. Uniting architecture, design and materials. It redefines the relationship between human beings and their environment, offering a singular and deeply personal experience in which design unveils new realms of perception.
