Revolution® is the collection conceived by SDR Ceramiche in collaboration with designer Luca Papini that is the first to bring solid surface sanitary ware on the market. This innovative line was officially presented during the Salone del Mobile 2022, which marked the first participation of the company, which with this product wanted to introduce precise, versatile and creative lines, together with a very high percentage of recyclable materials. The line features sharp, clear-cut, 90° perimeter edges, perfect surfaces without porosity, soft lines and balanced thicknesses: SDR proposes an unparalleled formal cleanliness of the sanitary ware vessel, thanks to a sophisticated patented industrial technique, which makes the Livin-Stone® shell fit perfectly with the ceramic inner part.
Revolution® is eco-friendly, recyclable and antibacterial and has passed all the technical tests (European standard EN-997) of mechanical resistance required to guarantee the same reliability and safety as traditional products. In fact, the sanitary ware in the Revolution® collection has a recyclability coefficient unequalled by sanitary ware made entirely of ceramic. The toilet bowl is, in fact, 75% recyclable and over 70% fuel energy is saved in its production, while the bidet is 100% recyclable. “When we designed the collection with Luca Papini, we had an urgent need: to give shape to our fantasies, to experiment with materials and shapes. Revolution® was a real challenge, both in terms of producing a Solid Surface sanitary ware coupled with ceramics, and the well-established culture of ceramics in the sanitary ware world,” says Roberto Basso, Sales Director of SDR.
