Confrestauro, the Association founded in 2023 with the aim of representing and promoting the sector of restoration and conservation of the Italian historical and artistic heritage, in collaboration with Platform is organising the Forum Rigenerazione e Restauro dedicated to the valorisation of the Italian architectural and cultural heritage
The aim of the event, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Lazio Region, is to bring together professionals, sector experts and institutional representatives who will have the opportunity to share projects, experiences and visions on regeneration and restoration strategies, highlighting the importance of a holistic and sustainable approach to the conservation and valorisation of Italy’s architectural and cultural heritage, one of the richest and most diverse in the world.
The event will be opened by greetings from the Institutions, with the presence of the Hon. Federico Mollicone, President of the Culture Commission at the Chamber of Deputies, Simona Renata Baldassarre, Lazio Region Culture Councillor, Sabato Gargiulo, Head of Infrastructures Fondazione Ferrovie dello Stato, Tommaso Pardi of Assoverde, and Alberto Rui, President of Confrestauro. Architect Luca Molinari, editorial director of Platform, will then introduce the theme of the conference.
Several speakers were scheduled during the meeting, eight architectural firms, moderated by Simona Finessi, editor of the magazine: Arch. Tommaso Tommasi of Architettura Tommasi, Arch. Giuseppe Cangialosi of Studio mzc+ and President of the Fondazione Architettura Treviso, Eng. Federico Paci of Studio Paci Ingegneria e Architettura, Friar Arch. Michele Badino of Studio Diffuso della Comunità Monastica di Bose, Arch. Pietro Carlo Pellegrini of Studio Pellegrini, Arch. Laura Andreini of Studio Archea, Arch. Alessandro Pedron of Studio APML and Claudio Lazzarini of Studio Lazzarini Pickering.
The event, which is open to the public subject to registration, will include a question and answer session at the end, which will give participants the opportunity to further explore any aspects that may have emerged during the proceedings.
