Sustainability is the key word behind the new RAK Ceramics proposals for small and large-scale projects presented at the Salone del Mobile 2024, solutions that follow the innovative and design spirit of the internationally recognised brand for bathroom furniture as well as for integrated systems for floor and wall tiles.
For the Lifestyle bathroom furnishing sector, among the novelties is RAK-SKIN, a line of washbasins characterised by tactile and natural materials that inspire an extraordinary materiality and feelings of comfort and warmth. The innovative materials used possess a delicate and enveloping quality, resulting in an extraordinarily refined aesthetic.
RAK-BATU, on the other hand, is inspired by the Balinese style: the collection of washbasins is characterised by an almost “mystical” tendency, by simple lines and by the new 5 mm slim edges that give the entire range a minimalist look and at the same time very high resistance. A perfect synthesis of design and functionality. The collection is made with a new artistic glaze obtained by adding particles of mica, specifically the Moscow mineral, to the mixture. It is available in three shapes: round, oval and rectangular, for a total of nine beautiful and unique products that infuse a natural and tropical ambience reminiscent of Balinese houses, all while maintaining the minimalist aesthetics of contemporary design.
As far as ceramic slabs are concerned, the novelties include MAXIMUS, the collection of sintered mega slabs for vanity tops and countertops in porcelain stoneware. This is a true revolution in the world of design and architecture, opening up new perspectives in the application of slabs that were previously unimaginable. All continuous surfaces are designed for any type of application: furniture, worktops, floors, wall coverings, and offer creative flexibility and high technical and aesthetic performance. In particular, the Maximus line was conceived to expand the possibilities of design and realisation of tops and countertops. Available in different thicknesses and a wide range of finishes and dimensions. Heat-resistant, recyclable, lightweight, durable and easy to clean, Maximus is the best answer to the most demanding architectural and interior design requirements.
At the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, other novelties also found their place, such as the PONTINO collection, the latest interpretation of travertine by RAK Ceramics. Developed using the advanced digital technology known as Sync Effect, the line boasts highly defined and realistic designs, thanks to embossed graphics and textured textures on smooth and textured surfaces.
SPIDER offers a wide and varied range of collections inspired by the elegance of marble to provide hundreds of solutions for residential, hospitality and business areas.
