For the first time ever, RAK Ceramics participated in the Salone del Mobile in Milan, which, as is well known, is one of the most important fairs in the world for the furniture and design industry. The Emirate company, leader in the ceramic sector worldwide, presented bathroom collections developed by international designers such as Patrick Norguet, Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà and the Debiasi Sandri duo, together with Metamorfosi, a new collection of surfaces inspired by the shapes and colours of nature. RAK Ceramics’ participation in the Salone del Mobile also marks the first presentation in Europe of the new bathroom and surface collections by world-renowned designer ELIE SAAB. RAK Ceramics also participates in the Fuorisalone programme with Black Ink, an immersive sensory installation where visitors can discover and experience iconic ceramic materials that characterise the brand’s portfolio.
Leonardo de Muro, Vice President of Marketing & Communications said “We’re honoured to join the list of Milan Design Week exhibitors for the first time. This is a unique opportunity to present RAK Ceramics on the global design stage not just as a ceramics expert specialised in ceramic and gres porcelain surfaces and bathroom products but also as a well-established company offering high-quality design solutions at an international level.” Commenting on the event, Abdallah Massaad, Group CEO, RAK Ceramics Group said: “This is a significant milestone for RAK Ceramics, as it confirms the continuous growth of a brand born and raised in the UAE, which has consistently pursued the long-term vision of becoming a global ceramics lifestyle solutions provider.”
Collections that represent this evolution of the brand are for example RAK-Valet, the latest collection by the French designer Patrick Norguet that perfectly coordinates with some of the most successful lines of RAK Ceramics, such as the new bathroom furniture RAK-Joy Uno and the mirrors designed by Norguet. The latter line is combined with equal elegance with the RAK-Plano countertops which transform the RAK-Joy or RAK-Joy Uno bathroom furniture into one of the most versatile furnishing solutions at the service of the design project. Also RAK-Variant, thanks to an innovative and modular system created by the designers Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri, opens up infinite possibilities of versatile solutions, with countertop, drop-in and undercounter washbasins offering a complete and modular range to satisfy all design and project requirements. The ability to respond to multiple interpretations is also the basis of RAK-Cloud, a line born from the fruitful collaboration with the Italian designer Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà and characterised by fluid lines inspired by geometric volutes combined with changeable shapes, such as clouds.
