Ponte Giulio makes the union of accessibility, safety and aesthetics its mission, considering the principles of Life Caring to be fundamental, i.e. a new paradigm that places the individual and his or her changing needs at the centre, anticipating changes and guaranteeing safety and practicality in any motor or cognitive condition, without renouncing aesthetics.
In fact, the Orvieto-based company specialises in the design of bathroom spaces and products, capable of accompanying users at every stage of life, even in the event of changes in physical or cognitive abilities. Thinking in advance of future needs reduces the need for invasive modifications and allows the combination of functionality and safety with an aesthetic that does not sacrifice a taste for beauty.
Ponte Giulio has recently presented a series of novelties for the shower and bathtub area at Cersaie 2024: for the shower area, for example, the new stainless steel columns stand out, enriching the SOLO Shower line with new handshowers and gargoyles, with the original removable shower holder, an absolute novelty for this exhibition.
This system, in its top version, received an honourable mention at the Compasso d’Oro for its quality, innovation and style.
For the bathtub area, Ponte Giulio’s 650 EVO line continues to set the benchmark, offering bathtub models with door, curtains and shower enclosures equipped with unobstructed walking surfaces and tip-up seats. Developed in collaboration with designer Paolo Parea, the line is designed to reduce water waste and adapt to a wide range of contexts and users, from small domestic environments to boutique hotels and residential facilities for the elderly.
The watertight door tubs of the 650 EVO line, available in compact sizes (110, 95 and 75 cm), are also ideal for small spaces. They occupy an area of between 0.60 and 0.77 m2 depending on the model.
Ponte Giulio continues to focus on HUG and OMNIA, two innovative and safe solutions, designed in collaboration with Daniele Trebbi, which represent the best of Life Caring Design.
OMNIA, which stands out for its flat section safety handles, seats and stools with a strong aesthetic impact, is the interpretation of the needs and desires of a new world, in which the domestic context and with it the sense of freedom is even more central.
The products in the collection are designed to improve accessibility in the bathroom, with sanitary ware, washbasins, handles and seating designed to ensure maximum inclusiveness. Without neglecting aesthetics, the more generous dimensions and high heights of the sanitary fittings are combined with rounded, light shapes. The aids, characterised by an original narrow oval profile, combine ergonomics and solidity, enhanced by elegant finishes and accessories.
HUG appeals to those who prefer softer, more rounded lines. Both collections offer elegant and safe bathroom furniture, suitable for all ages and physical conditions, focusing on caring for oneself and others. The stainless steel handles can withstand a load of up to 150 kg, depending on the size, while the wall cabinets become true safety elements thanks to their integrated support rails. Folding armrests withstand side pulls of up to 100 kg, and shower seats and stools, also with a load capacity of up to 150 kg, are equipped with adjustable rubber feet for stability.
