Platform signs the speeches of the Design Talk Festival at the Genova Design Week 2025

For the 2025 edition, Platform architecture and design confirms its role as curator of the series of meetings of the Design Talk Festival, the cultural event that animates the Genova Design Week from 21 to 23 May. After the success of the first edition, which saw protagonists such as Michele De Lucchi, Fabio Novembre and Clara Bona take to the stage, the event is relaunching with a shortlist of exceptional guests: three internationally renowned Italian studios, authentic ambassadors of architecture in the world.

21st May –  Massimo Adiansi: Architerror
Sala Quadrivium, Piazza Santa Marta 2, 5:30 pm

During the first evening, Massimo Adiansi, architect and Founder of the MDNS architecture studio, will be hosted. In 2010, for fun he opened a social page to which he gave the name Architerror, proposing himself as an observatory on what happens on the dark side of architecture. Today Architerror is followed by over 200,000 people who actively participate by reporting architectural horrors from all over the world.

22nd May – RPBW: architecture as a shared responsibility
Teatro Verdi in Sestri Ponente, 8.30 pm

The evening of 22 May will feature three representatives of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop: Luigi Priano, partner and board member; Raffaella Parodi, associate architect with solid international experience; and Gabriel Fagundes, architect of the studio. The three will share stories and reflections on the way of doing architecture of the studio founded by Renzo Piano, between participatory design, attention to detail and dialogue between cultures.

24th May – Mario Cucinella: sustainability as project culture
Sala delle Grida – Palazzo della Borsa, 6:30 pm

Closing the festival will be Mario Cucinella, pioneer of sustainable architecture and founder of the MCA studio. Author of projects that fuse technology, nature and social responsibility – such as the school in Guastalla or the TECLA prototype in 3D-printed raw earth – Cucinella will talk about how design can become an active tool for tackling the climate and social challenges of our time.

All meetings of the Design Talk Festival are accredited by the Association of Architects of Genoa and entitle to 2 professional training credits (CFP) each.
The events are open to the public and free of charge, subject to availability.

Architects registered with the Order who attend the event will receive 2 cfp for participation.
