Open House Roma returns — the major event that each year celebrates the architecture, history, and creativity of the Italian capital by opening the doors of places normally inaccessible to the public.
From May 24 to June 1, 2025, the 13th edition will present an extraordinary program: 220 sites to visit, 50 special events, and 60 thematic tours, offering a widespread, immersive experience open to all.
As part of Open House Roma 2025, Platform will take part with a calendar of special openings and a dedicated event focused on architecture and design culture.
On the weekends of Saturday 24, Sunday 25, Friday 30, and Saturday 31 May, Casa Platform will open the doors of its space at Via di Monte Giordano 36.
Located inside the historic Palazzo Taverna, which dates back to the 15th century, the space is designed as a multifunctional and flexible environment, conceived to host the activities of Platform Architecture and Designmagazine. The renovation project, designed by SET Architects, is a thoughtful and deliberate intervention that fosters a harmonious dialogue between past and present.
On these dates, the space will be open to the public with free guided tours, running from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in groups of up to 15 people every 45 minutes.
Casa Platform will host “The Poetics of Matter. Projects and Research by Architect Serena Mignatti”,
a conversation between Serena Mignatti and Simona Finessi, Publisher of Platform Network.
An opportunity to explore the architect’s design approach and research journey, centered on material, form, and narrative.
Open House Roma and Platform invite you to rediscover the city with fresh eyes—walk through its spaces, listen to its stories, and experience how architecture can create culture, emotion, and meaningful connections.
