Beauty, light and reflection.
These are the elements that characterise the Penta lamp created by designer Nicola Gallizia, which takes its name and inspiration from Narciso, the young man from Greek mythology who, through divine punishment, falls in love with his image reflected in the water, with the beauty and luminosity of his features.
Thus, the cone of the lamp of the same name reflects on itself, doubling to diffuse and reflect the delicate light of the illuminating body. Two cones are arranged on opposite sides of a thin tube: one serves as a base while the other as a lampshade in a precise triangular shape.
The idea for this minimalist yet refined lamp was born in 2017 from the collaboration between Penta and Nicola Gallizia: Narciso has suspension and floor models and now it is also being developed as a table lamp enriched by the possibility of integrating an audio speaker with bluetooth technology in the base to listen to music. Narciso in the table version is made of metal and is available in different finishes and two variants of size and height.
