The light that marks the hours and a window that overlooks the historic villas in the center of Palermo. This is how Casa NAM presents itself, with its clean and linear design that doesn’t renounce to the historicity of the surrounding area and, on the contrary, becomes the perfect frame for the landscape outside. The project is the result of a fractionation of a large apartment, over 260 square meters are redesigned to create two new units.
The living room is the beating heart of the apartment, which then winds through the bedrooms and services. The living room is the watershed between the different environments, on one side we have the oak parquet of the kitchen where is placed in the center a large island in dekton with integrated table, while on the other side the stoneware slabs mark the master area consisting of a study-disciple, the bedroom and a private bathroom.
As for the materials, Canaletto walnut was used in contrast with white lacquer for the made-to-measure furnishings; for the coverings, in addition to the large-format stoneware in the bathrooms, powder-coated iron and mirrored glass were used. The final result is the perfect balance between white and wood that give the environment a linear and customizable interior elements and objects. A house to live in and create on demand. Great attention by the study La Leta Architettura in accordance with the expertise in the smallest details from the choice of lighting up to the furniture.
