The hotel, reborn from the vision of Oscar Lucien Ono and his studio Maison Numéro 20, welcomes guests with a botanical mosaic mural that marks the entrance to a sophisticated universe, where every detail interacts with the surrounding landscape. The tiles, cut and laid by hand according to Friulian tradition, form a vertical garden that reflects the company’s philosophy: telling stories through materials, light and emotions. This sensitivity, which has led Friul Mosaic from San Martino al Tagliamento to collaborate with fashion houses such as Dolce & Gabbana and Bulgari and with some of the most exclusive hotels in the world, finds a new expression in Villa Miraé.
The botanical mosaic intertwines with the concept imagined by Maison Numéro 20, inspired by the colours of the sea, Mediterranean gardens and the Riviera sun, transforming the space into a sensory experience that combines discretion and refinement. Founded in 1987 by William Bertoia and now run by his daughters Tiziana and Barbara together with his grandson Nicola Avoledo, the company has built its identity on the uniqueness of each piece: mosaics made by hand, tile by tile, like haute couture garments. Villa Miraé thus becomes an oasis where architecture, craftsmanship and hospitality intertwine. From the refined spaces designed by Ono to the cuisine of three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, everything contributes to creating an immersive experience.
