Gypsum introduces Moon, a collection that transforms cement into a language of contemporary design. Created by Marco Merendi and Diego Vencato, Moon challenges the conventions of flat surfaces by infusing depth, contrast, and rhythm into each tile.
The distinctive feature of Moon lies in its dual composition: a glossy, structured base intersects with a central raised circle, creating visual movement and engaging with ambient light in unexpected ways. It’s a minimalist gesture with maximal impact.
Crafted from Gypsum’s proprietary Cementoraw®, Moon tiles are now available in the expanded 45×45 cm size. The four available hues—bold aubergine, rich mustard, and two timeless greys—offer versatile options for designers seeking both subtlety and character. Custom colour requests can be made using any of the 22 tones in the Gypsum catalogue.
Formulated with natural oxides and protected with a full-surface water- and oil-repellent finish, Moon is designed for wall applications, both indoors and out, combining durability with aesthetic refinement.
More than a product, Moon is a sensory design experience—bringing depth, elegance, and personality to architectural spaces.
