Mirage Chalkida City Resort: Pedrali Design Meets the Greek Landscape

Overlooking the crystal-clear waters of Euboea and just a short distance from the center of Chalkida, the Mirage Chalkida City Resort is a place where architecture, landscape, and contemporary hospitality blend in perfect harmony. The project was conceived with the aim of offering an authentic experience, where natural light, a constant connection to the sea, and attention to detail contribute to creating a welcoming and rejuvenating atmosphere.
The resort’s spaces are conceived as a sensory journey where interiors and exteriors interact seamlessly, inviting guests to slow down and experience time with greater awareness. Within this context, Pedrali’s collections help create a coherent and refined aesthetic, enhancing every space with discretion and elegance.

On the terrace overlooking the sea, the Philía chairs designed by Odo Fioravanti evoke the light-hearted atmosphere of 1960s Italian design. Their balanced lines and hand-woven PVC construction, crafted with artisanal care, convey a sense of comfort and authenticity, whilst the steel frame ensures strength and durability. Arranged around the Arki-Base tables, with their minimalist, industrial character, these chairs create a convivial space, perfect for moments of relaxation and socialising.

On the private terraces of the rooms, the Tribeca armchairs by Mandelli Pagliarulo reinterpret the aesthetics of traditional outdoor seating with a contemporary sensibility, combining a sturdy frame with an elastic weave that ensures comfort and visual lightness. Placed alongside Patrick Jouin’s Elliot tables, with their fluid and sophisticated forms, they help to create intimate and relaxed corners, in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

Inside, the lounge area features the Stiel seating designed by Sebastian Herkner, characterised by soft, enveloping forms that invite you to linger. The quality of the materials and attention to detail define a measured comfort, ideal for moments of conviviality or relaxation. In the same space, Hevea Partition by Victoria Azadinho Bocconi introduces a plant stand system capable of organising the space with lightness, bringing greenery indoors through flexible and dynamic vertical compositions.

The bar area is enlivened by Jazz stools, where ergonomics and elegance come together in a balanced synthesis, while in the guest rooms, Babila chairs—also designed by Odo Fioravanti—and Ikon side tables by Pio and Tito Toso complete the spaces with a minimalist and timeless aesthetic.

The Mirage Chalkida City Resort thus presents itself as a cohesive project, in which every element contributes to creating a seamless and immersive experience. It is a place where design and hospitality come together to weave a narrative of comfort, beauty, and harmony with the landscape.
