MEGA Art Fair: the “place to be” of Milan Art Week

From 2nd to 6th April 2025, to coincide with Milan Art Week, Milan will be hosting the second edition of MEGA Art Fair, the unmissable appointment with contemporary art that combines works by Italian and international art galleries with an engaging programme of performances, events and lectures that goes on until late in the evening.
MEGA Art Fair changes venue every year, inhabiting a reclaimed space in the city, and this year’s venue is at the space in via Orobia 26 in the Scalo di Porta Romana district.
It is a fascinating industrial space from the 1950s, of which it preserves details that make it a real jewel of industrial archaeology.

MEGA is an experience, a meeting place, a different way of engaging with art in its true meaning. It presents itself as a hub of innovation, a social space, a catalyst that encourages contamination between art, design, music, performance and video”, explains Marta Orsola Sironi, creator and curator of the event together with Mattia Pozzoni and Mauro Mattei.

The protagonist of MEGA Art Fair is contemporary art, with a strong international outlook. The 23 selected galleries – up from last year – come from all over the world.
The fair is presented without stands, with a view to an open dialogue between the works and the space. In addition to the galleries’ proposals, this year MEGA dedicates a thematic section to the power of fashion and its ability to reshape the world.
The special section, curated by Marcelle Joseph, explores, through the voices of female and queer artists, the power of clothing and other elements related to fashion or beauty, such as masks, wigs and make-up.
The public programme includes performances, guided tours by the curators, dinners, DJ sets and in-depth talks with artists and key players in the field, such as Amici Art, AWITA and Artquire.

The extended opening hours and convivial spaces make MEGA the perfect salon for both insiders and a wider audience, in the name of an inclusiveness that aims to bring new and heterogeneous audiences together.
Finally, a focus on food & drink and the visitor experience, combined with the informal atmosphere of an unconventional location make MEGA the place to meet during Milan Art Week.
