LANDSCAPING – Contemporary landscape design – Platform #57

Platform 57 began as a collaborative project, developed from the vision of editor-in-chief Luca Molinari and enriched by the contribution of Annalisa Metta, guest editor of the issue entirely dedicated to the theme of landscape. A shared endeavour that weaves together diverse expertise and perspectives, giving rise to a multifaceted reflection on contemporary landscape design.

The editorial experience takes the form of an intense journey, capable of opening up new perspectives and raising questions that extend beyond the pages of the magazine, transforming into an opportunity for broader dialogue and discussion. This has given rise to the desire to bring this reflection into a real and participatory dimension, where ideas can continue to develop through direct interaction.

On 9 April, at 6 pm, this journey continues at Roma Tre University, which is hosting an event conceived and curated by Annalisa Metta. The meeting represents an open forum for discussion on landscape as a contemporary design field, offering a space for listening and exchange between scholars, designers and the public.

Marco Filoni, Maria Livia Olivetti and Michelangelo Pugliese will also take part in the conversation, in a dialogue that aims to explore the role of landscape in the construction of the city and public space today. An opportunity to share visions, connect experiences and contribute to the development of critical thinking on contemporary design.
