The studio Nomade Architettura and Interior Design has carried out a complete transformation of a 1960s villa, involving interiors, exteriors and gardens, emphasising the breathtaking views.
On the first floor of the villa is the living area, conceived as a single space around the fireplace, the central fulcrum uniting the kitchen, living room and dining area.
The kitchen, which extends along the longitudinal wall, creates a clean line that blends harmoniously with the sofa area. The latter is designed for comfort, allowing one to enjoy the fireplace, television and the beautiful view of the lake.
The kitchen and dining area is surmounted by an oak drop, the same used for the floor, which creates an intimate and cosy atmosphere. The custom-made kitchen, made of Canaletto walnut, is complemented by an absolute black granite top.
A walnut door, in harmony with the kitchen finish, leads to the children’s sleeping area and the first guest room. A resin bathroom and two children’s rooms are located here, along with a guest room with a large bathroom in emperador grey marble.
A staircase leads to the upper floor, which houses a sitting room with a reading area and view of the lake, the study and the master suite with bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and bedroom. On this floor, the alternating use of wood elements and cement-effect resin finishes in the living room creates an elegant effect, while the bathroom is clad in bardiglio, with sculptural iron elements and back-painted satin glass.
The terraced garden follows the contours of the hill, hosting a swimming pool with a view of the lake.
In addition, a covered veranda accommodates a sofa area, a barbecue, a pizza oven and a large table, perfect for convivial moments outdoors.
The rebirth of this villa represents not only an architectural transformation, but a new way of experiencing domestic space, in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature.
