ITALAMP, a historic Italian lighting company that has been interpreting light as an expression of emotion and beauty for half a century, unveiled its new Kaleido BLOOMÉ fixture during Downtown Design Dubai and subsequently at Light25 in London, confirming once again its ability to combine aesthetic research, innovation and authentic craftsmanship.
BLOOMÉ was created as a tribute to nature and its most poetic forms, transforming the inspiration of tulips into a luminous sculpture that blends delicacy and material strength. The design interprets the flower through a metal stem available in nickel gold and light gold finishes and carved crystal buds that recall the different stages of flowering, with the closed version available exclusively in transparent crystal and the open version available in iridescent, transparent or, in the exposed variant, transparent with acid-etched carving finishes.
The installation can take on different configurations thanks to the suspension cables, which can all be the same length for a more rigorous and architectural result, or variable, evoking the natural movement of a suspended bouquet. Its modular and scenographic nature allows BLOOMÉ to fit elegantly into the most prestigious contract contexts as well as refined residential environments, confirming ITALAMP’s vision of creating luminous objects capable of telling stories and arousing emotions.
