On 6th and 7th June 2024, interzum, Koelnmesse GmbH‘s event of excellence in the subcontracting sector for the furniture industry, will take place in Bergamo, adding a new biennial event to its global trade fair constellation.
interzum forum italy is the new biennial event that will alternate with interzum cologne in even-numbered years.
“It isimportant to emphasise that interzum forum italy is a project that responds to the needs of this historical moment in which companies are looking for concentrated, short-lasting and extremely effective events,” says Thomas Rosolia, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Italia . “Todate, the two halls of the exhibition centre are almost full and we hope to reach 200 exhibitors from all over the world in the Function & Components, Materials & Nature, and Textile and Machinery sectors,” continues Thomas Rosolia.
An appointment, therefore, that develops a contained and effective format: two days in which to meet the companies of the sector and examine in depth the most topical themes for the industrial districts.
An event that addresses different subcontracting chains that have witnessed interesting evolutions in recent years.
And again, trends, new technical and technological solutions, new materials, products and processes with a low environmental impact, digitalisation for production and services; a matrix of topics and formats to meet all the demands of the sectors involved treated by important international speakers.
Complementing the extensive programme of meetings will be a mix of activities and side events including Talks, Trend Stages, Product Stages, Matchmaking and special event areas.
Exhibiting companies will also be able to nominate their products and services for the interzum forum italy award.
An exceptional jury, made up of international experts in environmental issues, technological innovation and trend setting will decide on the best entries, selecting in particular those that will interpret market developments indicating developments for the sectors represented at the exhibition. There are 6 awards in the Innovation and ESG & Sustainability categories, divided into the 3 thematic areas Functions & Components, Materials & Nature and Textile & Machinery.
